Our Study

is seeking volunteers to see whether using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) with diet and lifestyle guidance can support postmenopausal women at risk of type 2 diabetes (T2D).

You May Qualify If You Are

• A healthy postmenopausal woman under the age of 66 living in SA with an unrestricted diet

• At high risk of T2D (AUSDRISK ≥ 12)

• Willing to wear a CGM

 

 

Potential Benefits

• Free access to four CGMs, a dietitian, nutrition and lifestyle advice and your health markers

• Improved glucose control and overall health

• Financial compensation with a $50 gift card

 

 

Participation Involves

• Wearing a CGM plus daily app entries

• Two 2.5 h visits to SA Pathology for fasting bloods and oral glucose tolerance test

• Completing three online questionnaires

This study has been approved by the Flinders University Human Research Ethics Committee (Project No. 9478) and registered with the Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry (Reg No. ACTRN12626000504314p).
